Sacla Pasta Pots: a shortcut to Italy
For Sacla', the mission was clear: bring a taste of Italy to busy Brits in just five minutes. Their new Instant Pasta Pots are the shortcut we all need when a plane ticket to Tuscany isn't possible.
I wanted to build something that felt like a mini Italian getaway the moment you saw it. To appeal to a younger, Gen Z and Gen Alpha crowd, I created a bright, playful Italian world sunshine-soaked streets, sparkling Amalfi blues, cheerful cypress trees all designed to spark that warm, carefree Italian feeling.
The campaign idea was simple: Shortcut to Italy. From the YouTube and TikTok videos full of sun-drenched animation and an impossibly catchy tune, to bold aisle fins in-store (at Morrisons and Asda). Quick, authentic, and full of flavour, these pots are a proper lunchtime upgrade – no nasties, no fuss, and packed with the comforting goodness you'd expect from Nonna herself.
For me, the real joy was weaving that playful Italian spirit into every part of the design – so whether you spotted it on shelf, in feed, or heard the tune on loop, you felt like you were just one spoonful away from an Italian holiday.
